Australian Chinese Broadcasting
For many years TWR - Australia had a team of people in Australia developing shortwave radio programs that were broadcast into China. However, TWR - Australia was not effectively engaging the Chinese churches in Australia. Chinese churches could help enormously to make Christian broadcasting very successful in China, and other countries, including Australia.
As we considered the future of TWR - Australia, we realised that developing programs for broadcast should not be part of our future strategy. During 2007, these operations were transferred to another Christian organisation, Australian Chinese Broadcasting. The team at ACB work directly with our TWR - Asia brodcasting specialists in Singapore.
We are excited about the enormous potential this project has for achieving the TWR mission amongst Chinese communities in Australia and overseas.
