Pray for TWR in Australia

This website of twr.org.au could be very effective for some very important reaons:

• It could attract many more people to an interest in the work of TWR around the world
• It provides a great opportunity to inform suporters in this country about the work of TWR, in a more meaningful way than we have in the past
• It can help widen the support base for prayer and financial needs around the world.

Will you please pray that any content we place on the site will attract a wide audience and help significantly to achieve TWR’s global vision and mission?

At our Board meeting on 16/9 we will further consider our strategic goals for 2009 – 2011. Please pray that our Board members and team will clearly discern God’s purpose for TWR in Australia, and be encouraged to achieve those goals with the help of our prayer and financial partners.  

This week we will be considering our plans to raise the necessary funds for the joint project with Indonesia in 2009. Please pray that this project to test a new broadcasting model in Indonesia will be successfully tested by the end of 2009. The project goals are to:

• Increase the airtime of TWR packaged programs by increasing number of radio networks accepting our programs,
• Increase the average number of hours of TWR packaged programs per radio station per day
• Establish a formal ‘grass roots’ community development program being led by TWR listener groups
• Increase the coverage of TWR listener groups by increasing the number of groups and the number of people in the groups
• Develop a C21 communications model for “proclaiming Jesus’ gospel of salvation”, and transforming Indonesian lives through Jesus’ message.
